Materials: Thick plaster, ultramarine paint, ultramarine ink and epoxy resin on a wood panel.
 
Inspired by the deep waters of the Puget Sound and the rhythmic tides that carry its currents to and from the Pacific Ocean, this piece captures a sense of movement and depth. The rich sapphire tones reflect the profound hues found in the Sound’s deepest waters, evoking both its mystery and quiet power.
